EPP_Expanded Polypropylene is an extremely versatile foam plastic, which is similar to styrofoam, but unlike styrofoam, it has excellent strength parameters, meaning EPP is not as rigid and brittle. EPP has a good strength-to-weight ratio, design flexibility and high thermal insulation properties make it an attractive material for HVAC industry application, such as for production of housings of air-handling units and air conditioners.Visible parts such as housings of air treatment systems can be made of high-quality EPP.

EPP system components are compatible with traditional, galvanized ductwork elements with male ends (it’s recommended to choose fittings with seals). The ducts fit directly into the connectors of the heat recovery units and into distribution boxes (manifolds). The EPP ducts can also be fitted directly with air intake and exhaust vents. Due to the lightweight design of the elements, the suspension system is practically unnecessary. If additional clamps are needed - standard suspension clamps can be used.
